Os Franco Atiradores nasceram da união entre o compositor/intérprete Pedro Eça, Hugo Florêncio (guitarra), Israel Cestinho (teclas, acordeão e clarinete), El Pavoni (baixo), Eddy Gondim (bateria e percurções), Zéquinha (sax alto e tenor), Filipe Valentim (sax alto e baritono), Miguel Gonçalves e Antonio Morais (trompetes), Ruben Santos (trombone de vara), Luis Pinto (tuba), Cláudio Nunes (cello) e Tiago Flores (violino). A sonoridade da banda advém das raízes luso-brasileiras do compositor.

Pedro Eça nasceu em Angola, meses antes do 25 de Abril e cedo partiu para o Brasil onde começou, aos 14 anos, a tocar guitarra.
Aos 18 anos volta para Portugal e começa a compor o que seriam as primeiras músicas de Franco Atiradores.
Aos 27 anos, encontra Israel Cestinho, Hugo Florêncio e El Pavoni, com a ajuda dos mesmos, começaram a trabalhar nos arranjos e orquestrações das músicas. Mais tarde surge a união com Zéquinha, Filipe Valentim e Eddy Gondim, a partir daí o projecto começa a crescer, tanto musicalmente, como logisticamente, aquando da gravação da primeira maquete surge o contacto com Cláudio Nunes, Tiago Flores e Luis Pinto e a banda ia crescendo, só mais tarde e já durante a gravação do cd juntaram-se à banda o Miguel Gonçalves, Antonio Morais e o Ruben Santos, last but not the least, ainda durante as gravações tivéram a honra de ter as participações de músicos convidados como o Sr. Abílio Caseiro na guitarra portuguesa e ainda as vozes de Diana Freire e do produtor musical Marco Jung.

De momento, encontram-se a gravar o video-clip do single intitulado Rap do Ciclo com o produtor Roger Berg.

The Franco Atiradores band (in english "Snipers") was born by the union between the songwriter Pedro Eça, Hugo Florêncio (guitar), Israel Cestinho (keyboards, accordion and clarinet), El Pavoni (bass), Eddy Gondim (drums and percussion), Zéquinha (sax alto and tenor), Filipe Valentim (sax baritone and alto), Miguel Gonçalves (trumpet), Ruben Santos (trombone), Luis Pinto (tuba), Claudio Nunes (cello) and Tiago Flores (violin), the musical influences come from the Portuguese and Brazilian influences of the composer.
Pedro Eça was born in Angola few months before the 25th April of 74 (Portuguese revolution) and a few moths after went to Brazil where he started to play guitar at the age of 14.
When he was 18th he comes back to Portugal where he started to compose the first songs of Franco Atiradores. At the age of 27 he met Israel Cestinho, Hugo Florêncio and El Pavoni and with they're help started to work the arrangements and orquestration of the songs. Later on, Zéquinha, Filipe Valentim and Eddy Gondim join the band, since then the project has stated to grow, when they begun to record the fist demo they've met Claudio Nunes, Tiago Flores and Luis Pinto and slowly the band was growing, during the recordings of the cd they've met Miguel Gonçalves, Antonio Morais and Ruben Santos, last but not the least, still during the recordings they had the honor of having invited musicians like Mr. Abilio Caseiro (Portuguese guitar) and the voices of Diana Freire and the producer Marco Jung.
For the moment they're recording the video-clip of the single "Rap do Ciclo with the producer Roger Berg, listen and enjoy this fusion band that tries to explore all styles and rhythms.
